# What's different about Forget Me Not® Freestanding Kiosk

LEARN ABOUT WHAT MAKES FORGET ME NOT® FREESTANDING KIOSK DIFFERENT FROM LEARNER
APP AND LEARNER WEB

There are a number of slight differences when a learner uses Forget Me Not®
Freestanding Kiosk compared to  Learner App
[https://support.forgetmenot.chat/start-using-the-app?hsLang=en] or Learner Web
[https://support.forgetmenot.chat/start-using-learner-web?hsLang=en].

LEARNING ENGAGEMENT STYLE

With Forget Me Not® Freestanding, the learning engagement style is slightly
different to the traditional Forget Me Not® App and Web experience because
learners will login, answer questions and then log out straight away. This means
that learner engagement must be done by other workplace communication channels.

Learners do not get reminders or notifications when using Forget Me Not®
Freestanding Kiosk so these important communications must be managed by
the Console Admin
[https://support.forgetmenot.chat/getting-started-as-an-administrator?hsLang=en] using
standard corporate comms systems.

DAILY ACTIVITY LIMIT

With Forget Me Not® Freestanding learning is limited to 5 minutes per day for
each learner, which is based on pre-set times for each type of question.

For example:

 * Each True/False question counts as 2 mins
 * Each Simple question counts as 2 mins
 * Each Advanced question counts as 4 mins

This means that learners will get a maximum of 2 questions for a True / False or
Simple series per day and just 1 question for an Advanced series per day. This
means that the Question Per Day value set for the Series is limited by the Daily
Activity Limit.

⚠️ With Forget  Me Not® Freestanding the series questions per day limit is
ignored and also the days off set by the user are also ignored

LOGIN OPTIONS

With Forget Me Not® Freestanding there are different login options
[https://support.forgetmenot.chat/how-to-login-to-forget-me-not-freestanding?hsLang=en]
that are more friendly to a kiosk type device where learners might not have
access to their account password.

IN-LINE WEB LINKS NOT SUPPORTED

If a question has an in-line web link which is included in the series as part
of:

 * Question Statement
 * Correct Feedback
 * Incorrect Feedback

Then this link won't open in the Kiosk. For security reasons the kiosk is
restricted to using Forget Me Not® Freestanding only so no other applications
will work.

⚠️ In-line links will show as normal text and won't be recognisable as links.
